San Servolo is an island located just in front of San Marco Square. It was once a monastery, then a psychiatric hospital, and with its numerous conference rooms and the adjacent accommodation buildings providing over 200 beds, it may be considered a centre of excellence for conferences, training seminars and cultural events.
