Attention Merit Badge Counselors! Your registrations EXPIRE April 30th Council position (not unit!) and we have our own charter year: May 1 to April 30th. April is our recharter month.

  • Current Merit Badge Counselor registrations will automatically be rechartered IF…

 Your YPT currency expires no later than April 30, 2017

(must be current for the full charter year)

and

 You resubmit the Council's current “Merit Badge Counselor Badge Selection Form”

to reaffirm the merit badges you counsel. (download from ocscouts.org>resources>other forms) Send your Selection Form to the Council Registrar by: email to tiffany.adams@scouting.org Mail or Drop it off at the Cumberland Scout Shop.

 Current counselors Not D76 course trained will Not be registered on May 1, 2016  All New counselor registrations require D76 training to be registered.

Boy Scout Roundtable Newsletter -May 2016

  • "Activities that your troop is planning to participate in during the summer so that other

troops can get ideas."

  • Looking for troops that can give a presentation on one of the requirements for Second

Class or First Class at one of the roundtables for about 20 to 25 min. So far I have no one stepping up to the plate as of this writing.

  • If you have a need for other training ahead of the council schedule let me know and I will

try to work it in with the council schedule.

  • We still need many positions to be filled or assist the staff in you area of expertise.
  • Scouting items wanted for the auction in December, 2016.
