WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

Bisexual erasure is perpetuated by systems of bi- phobia and monosexism through a lack of social recognition, visibility, widespread misconceptions and negative stereotypes, all of which produce harmful and often times devastating results for bi- sexual individuals such as internalized biphobia, negative social experiences, suicide, and a struggle to fjnd acceptance within their own community.
