PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM

  • The PPP is now accepting applications until August 8, 2020.
  • You can apply through any existing SBA 7(a) lender or through a federally

insured credit union that is participating.

  • The loan will be fully forgiven if the funds are used for payroll costs,

interest on mortgages, rent and utilities. At least 60% of the forgiven amount must have been used for payroll.

  • Forgiveness will be reduced if full-time headcount declines, or if salaries

and wages decrease.

  • Sole proprietors, independent contractors and self-employed persons can

apply.

Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program has closed. Businesses can now check the status of their loan at: https://www.cognitoforms.com/NJEDA/grantapplicationstatus/.

Small Business Emergency Assistance Loan Program – A $10 million program that

will provide working capital loans of up to $100,000 to businesses with less than $5 million in revenues. Loans made through the program will have ten-year terms with zero percent for the first five years, then resetting to the EDA’s prevailing floor rate (capped at 3.00%) for the remaining five years.
