What is ThermoGlass?

The transparent electroconductive layer provides uniform heating

  • f the glass surface.

In combination with the thermostat the temperature of the room can be set with high precision easily and quickly. ThermoGlass can be used in any system with all kinds of profjles (wood, plastic, metal). ThermoGlass connects to 230V AC/DC electricity without using voltage transformers.

ThermoGlass is an absolutely transparent continuous, conductive surface (layer) which functions as a heat- ing element by a unique and innovative techonology applied on the glass surface. Visually ThermoGlass is no difgerent from standard glass, yet it has a number of useful features that you will not fjnd in standard

ThermoGlass can be used as a primary or secondary heat source. It is often used in situations where

  • ther heating systems can not be used.

The features of ThermoGlass

The possibilities of the usage of the ThermoGlass are practically unlimited. Using an unique patented nanotechnology we are able to fjnd solutions for a wide range of technical and functional require- ments: from the production of windows and glass panels of various sizes to the production of heating glass roofs and facades for the largest buildings. What makes this product unique? And what features does ThermoGlass ofger?

Anti-icing and fast snow melting Heating

When an electric current fmows through ThermoGlass, it heats the snow and ice which then melts uniformly over the entire surface of the glass structure.

Comfort Zone

When the outdoor temperature is lower than the inside temperature, there is a “cold window efgect“. ThermoGlass is eliminating this efgect and creates a comfort zone.

Anti-condensation

The humidity increases inside modern, well-insulated buildings due to insuffjcient ventilation. On larger glass surfaces water condensation appears. With ThermoGlass, the condensation is eliminated and the glass surface remains dry. The special ThermoGlass surface provides selective properties: during cold weather, even when the electricity is turned ofg, the heat is refmected back into a room. At the same time, when it is warm

  • utside, ThermoGlass blocks the heat outside from fjnding its way inside.

Good insulation properties

Electrical conductivity of the glass surface layer can be used as a intrusion sensor and may be directly connected to the alarm (security) system.
