The Health of Kittitas County
A profile of health, well-being, and quality of life in our community
To measure the physical environment’s impact on health, we examined environmental quality data in the areas of air, water, and food safety. National data is not available for these measures. Kittitas County had more unhealthy air days than Washington State overall. More of our streams have a pollution control plan in place, and significantly fewer of our food establishments have significant violations.
