What has happened recently?

  • Housing services handed back to the

Council

  • TMO staff transferred under TUPE

arrangements and are now Council employees

  • TMO appointed Interim General Manager
  • TMO reviewed and agreed its future

purpose

What is the role of the TMO?

The TMO has one main purpose…. To support and answer to the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, Police investigations and

  • ther legal processes for as long as is

necessary.

The challenge for the TMO?

The TMO has two challenges: A practical one – the rules of the company are based around an agreement (MMA) with the Council to deliver housing services A legal one – the current arrangements and the TMO come to an end once new housing management arrangements are agreed.
