SC Multiplets

Strategy of Multiplett procurement

  • The series production including the 1st Multiplet will be tendered.
  • The contract is organized in two parts:

a) production of 1st Multiplet magnet and b) production of Multiplet series.

  • Breakup into 2 (3) batches is discussed. The present time planning,

however, consider one batch.

  • After the production of the 1st Multiplet, approximately 1 year is

foreseen for testing. Some preparation work for the series will be done during this time.

Timeline SC Multipletts

At that point all SC multipletts necessary for the Pre-Separator should be available on site Series production: we expect roughly 1 multiplet to be delivered per month
