Student Takeaways

“The most memorable for me was being able to meet Congresswoman Barbara Lee and have the chance to go to the

  • Capitol. This trip is something I'll

never forget and I'm happy that I was able to go with such a great group!”

12

“I liked that no one knew that we were students (it wasn't put

  • n the name tags) so we were

treated like adults.” “I understand now how other school districts manage funds, I understand the difficulties of satisfying student needs, and I learned about how effective I can be when talking to my legislators.”
