This can be found on the BSC website or the facility website. Sign and submit your Assumption of Risk Waiver to • bedfordskatingclub@gmail.com Sign and submit your weekly ‘Health Screening Waiver’at the beginning of each • week that your skater is on the ice to bedfordskatingclub@gmail.com. The only needs to be submitted once per week before your skater gets on the ice. Pack a small, neatly organized bag to have at the boards. Contents will be • noted in the next slide. Please Note: If possible, get hard skate guards if you do not have them. This will make it • possible to walk around in your skates. Particularly from outdoors to the ice surface.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR BAG: Face Mask (mandatory) • Tissues (ziplock bag recommended for dirty tissues) • Hand Sanitizer • Water Bottle • Gloves • A pen for signing into the facility • NO SHARING IS PERMITTED PLEASE NOTE: Masks, gloves and water bottles are not permitted to be used on • consecutive days without being washed There is no lost and found and you are not permitted to re-enter • the facility. 6. WARM UP OPTIONS Outdoors We recommend that skaters put their skates on at home, in the car • or outside the rink if weather permits. You are allowed to put your skates on indoors if needed at some facilities. Please refer to your facility guidelines for confirmation. All belongings must be left in the car except your ‘on ice bag’. •

  7. ENTERING THE RINK ALL facility guidelines must be followed. We have a zero tolerance policy. • Parents are not permitted in the rink • Masks should be worn when entering and exiting the rink but are not • mandatory on ice. It is good practice to clean your hands before and after touching common • surfaces to minimize the spreading of germs. For example, when you enter the rink and touch the door. The skater must sign in when entering the rink (all ages) • The skater must answer the symptom questionnaire with your coach. This is • available on the BSC website. The skater must enter and exit using the wayfinding arrows provided by the • facility. The skater must maintain a 6 foot physical distance from others at all times. •

  8. ON THE ICE Skater are to get on the ice and keep their guards in their ‘on ice • bag’ or on their section of the boards Their coach will notify the skater of their section of the boards • where they will keep their things and go to rest, get a drink, etc. Skaters are permitted to use the entire ice but MUST maintain a 6 • foot physical distance There will be no group lessons • There will be no stroking sessions •

  9. IF YOU HAVE TO…. Take your gloves off to blow your nose. • Blow your nose • Immediately dispose of the tissues. Preferably in your own • ‘provided from home’ ziplock bag. If not, in the facility garbage can in which case you will have to use the wayfinding arrows for exit and re-entry. This could be time consuming. You then have to sanitize your hands. • You can now put your gloves back on. • PLEASE USE THE WASHROOM BEFORE YOU LEAVE HOME • TO LIMIT USE AT THE FACILITY If you have to use the facility washrooms, you MUST use • the wayfinding arrows in the facility. In some facilities you can only walk in one direction. Exit and enter the ice as directed by the facility signage. • WASH YOUR HANDS •
