What is….? What is law, what is declaration and convention and how is that connected to the children's rights? Declarations and conventions Declaration is a set of documents that have only moral strength Convention is an agreement that has the power of the law and its signatories are obliged to abide by the regulations from the convention That also includes the right to monitor if all regulations from the convention are applied accordingly in the countries which have accepted and ratified the convention The UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC)

There are 196 countries in the world and 194 out of them have signed the CRC Why were children's rights separated? Declaration of Human Rights was the first all-conquering instrument for the protection
