How Does a PEO Work?

  • You can think of a PEO as your off-site

departmental manager. Your business recruits and hires employees. Your employees become “shared employees” or “co- employees” of your business and the PEO. While you maintain day-to-day direction and control, the PEO takes care of the ancillary HR functions and government paperwork.

  • Most PEO Companies charge a percentage of

  • This fee covers the cost of payroll preparation, HR

Administration, and Workers’ Comp Management

  • Remember all government paperwork files are

done by the PEO allowing you free time to take care of your business

  • Additional costs for Insurance and 401(k), if you

choose to accept this benefit, is normally itemized on your invoice

HOW DO I GET STARTED

  • Enduring Services will discuss your needs with you to

determine the right PEO to fit your needs

  • You will then receive a “Request for Proposal” form which

will give us the information we need to get you a Quote

  • Once we receive the RFP form, we will get the Quote from

the PEO selected and review it with you

  • If you wish to offer any Health Benefits, you will be sent a

Health Questionnaire to complete and return directly to the PEO

  • If you accept the Quote, you will then sign a contract that

will be renewed at the first of each year in most cases.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

  • Once you have signed and know your start date you are

ready to exhale and turn a lot of your worries over to the PEO

  • Most PEO Companies will send out a “Set Up Team” or

conduct a Webinar/Phone Conference to help you and your employees fill out the paperwork

  • At this point you will be instructed on the how, when,

and where of reporting payroll

  • At the “Set Up Meeting” you will also learn who your

contacts in the various PEO Departments will be
