Risk Assessments – Managing an increase in risk Clearly defined and understood initial risk assessment and risk escalation process to ensure that offenders are managed either by the CRC or NPS. 1. NPS will focus on high risk of serious harm 2. CRC medium and low risk The NPS and CRC will work collaboratively, which is further facilitated by co-location. Both providers will remain alert to risk factors and reassess both risk of reoffending and risk of harm on a regular basis. Key communication will be undertaken in managing risk of harm.
