Department of Mathematics & Statistics and N.S.S. Research Cell jointly organized an intracollegiate competition for F.Y. B.Com. Students on ‘Data Presentation’ on 2nd November 2018. This was conducted with the objective of inculcating research culture among the students by introducing the concept of Primary Data Collection and Data
- Presentation. The students were asked to collect primary data and compute atleast two
statistical tools from Unit III of F.Y. B.Com. Sem-I syllabus of Statistics.The students felt that the event was extremely beneficial to them as it helped them to prepare for the First Semester Examination. Total 25 students from F.Y. B.Com. participated in the competition and made the presentation of data through Posters and PPT and more than 100 students attended the event. Result Rank Name Class Topic
