MS Megades Novo

A powerful wide spectrum disinfectant! MS Megades Novo is a universal disinfectant for use in animal housings and disinfection baths.

  • Powerful foaming disinfectant
  • Wide spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeasts, fungi, viruses
  • Pleasant smell
  • Does not cause discoloration to the surface
  • Non corrosive
  • Reaches deep into the pores
  • Effective in the presence of a fatty residue or organic matter

Preparation prior to disinfection

  • Prior to disinfection the surface needs to be

thoroughly cleaned

  • Cleaning removes 95% of all dirt including micro-
  • rganisms
  • A clean surface requires the minimum dosage of

disinfectant with the maximum effect

Disinfection

  • Oxidizing agents (reaction with oxygen)

Group of active ingredients to which Iodine, Chlorine, Hydrogen Peroxide, Peracitic acid and Chlorine-dioxide belong Very broad spectrum, low temperatures, quick acting, sensitive to fouling, poor stability, no resistance of micro-organisms

  • Non-oxidizing agents

Group of active ingredients to which Formaldehyde, Gluteraldehyde and Quaternary ammonium compounds belong Broad spectrum, low temperature failure, slower acting, high fouling tolerance, rel. high stability, for some substances resistance possible when concentrations are not applied correctly

 MS Megad ades es Novo is a non-oxidiz

Glutaraldehyde: Gluteral

(150 grams per litre)

  • A disinfecting agent from the range to which Formaldehyde also
  • belongs. The mechanism is the same for both: Destruction of cell

proteins of especially micro-organisms

  • Glutaraldehyde does not have the carcinogenic suspicion of

Formaldehyde, a far higher boiling point (not active in gas phase) and less toxicity. It enables us to have a strong acting, broad spectrum and high fouling resistant agent.  Highly hly effect ective ive microbio

Quarternary Ammonium Compounds

(100 grams per litre)

  • Quats are surfactants. Normally surfactants are used to lower

surface tension and improve penetration. Here the Quat is also disturbing the cell membrane and kills the micro-organism. Quats also adhere rather well to surfaces. Even performing better together with the aldehyde.

  • Quats are widely used against algae

  • Viruses

uses: Egg drop syndrome, infectious pancreatic necrosis, respiratory disease complex, chicken anaemia, viral diarrhoea, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis, aujeskys, Newcastle disease, Bovine Pneumonia, Parvoviral enteritis, Enteritis, Teschen Talfan disease, Porcine Blue Ear / PRRS

  • Fungi

MS Megades Novo

  • Not affecting slurry pit and/or biogas installations when applied

correctly

  • Superior wetting performance and surface penetration due to

special blend of surfactants

  • Available with detailed risk assessment
  • Non oxidizing agent and therefore stable formulation and safe for

all materials

slide-10

Application

  • Not corrosive and absolutely neutral on materials and therefore

applicable for stables and similar

  • Also applicable combating algae fouling on surfaces
  • Because of high fouling compatibility ideal for rough and porous

materials (wood, concrete, a.o.)

  • Easy to apply in foam and spray systems
