interest of EU citizens to seek for job in the region

▰ Attica, Crete and Southern

Aegean are more attractive to EU citizens

▰ People coming from third

dynamism in employment

Annual Reports by the Mechanism for Diagnosis of Labour Market needs can answer a series of questions such as:

13

Employed- Dynamism Analysis (2018-2019)

What is the number and variation of employed per sector/region/year/educational level? What is the number of the unemployed based on their previous occupation and educational level? What are the most dynamic professions and economic sectors? How many new job positions were created in every region, based on profession, sector, municipality, gender and age? What are the skills/competences required for the job I desire? What jobs can I take based on the competences/skills I already have?

slide-14
SLIDE 14

▰ For instance, I have seen

that one of the most dynamic professions in WGR is an assistant for customer services/support. What are the skills I need to have?

14

Employed- Dynamism Analysis (2018-2019)

Problem solving Analysis of Customer Satisfactions Handling offers/ distribution of products

slide-15
SLIDE 15

What we need on regional level? (personal view ) We need to develop synergies between regional authorities and co-design strategies/policies after investigating the social aspects and impact of (un)employment facts, for example:

15

Job satisfaction Feeling of protection of civil rights Fair treatment in work environments Skills gap and ways to narrow it Sense of well- being, deriving from work Sense of security/ freedom of choices Respect of minorities or vulnerable groups Obstacles for access to work
