T2S Community test planning update

Following the outcome of 11/06 CSG meeting, re-planning of Community/Business Day is proposed in subsequent slides which include already the following known facts:

1) New live date has been made available on 31/08/2015 for Monte Titoli and the Italian Community 2) MIG2 test environment will be used 15-19 June to allow entities migrating on 22 June to test T2S where MoTi is restricted for settlement (prod configuration for MoTi from 22/06 to 21/08) 3) MIG2 (operated since 25/05 in Live timing – 07:00 -22:30) will return to Synchronised Standard day as of Monday 22/06 4) Changes to static data configuration in CLIMP T3 will not be allowed from 15/07 5) Descoping of MT functionalities:

• Cash Forecast: will not be provided before live date due to persistent issue with SEMT.027 message

received from T2S

• CAoF (OTC activity): limitation with SEMT.027 performance require change in MT systems which cannot be

implemented before going live 6) Termination of test activity before final migration is foreseen for 21/08. The same deadline applies to Authorization test. 7) Corporate Action test will be planned fortnightly and communicated the week before the planned test period commences

In addition, there are a number of elements which are still subject to agreement with ECB (meeting 24/6) and hence may change slightly the plan as presented. These are :

1) Duration of the test in MIG2 for migrating entities prior to 22/06: 5 days indicated are the worst case scenario. Should the test conclude before, MoTi SE will be reactivated straight away and hence and community test can resume immediately. Corporate Actions test can only restart as of 22/06 due to CA scheduling workload. 2) Execution of MWDR is planned for 25/26 July. This is preceded by standard MW preparation activities: MT systems closed as of Tuesday 21/07, MIG2 is purged as of Wednesday COB. 3) Rescheduling of Operational test scenario 5 (RAD) is required by ECB but still unplanned 4) Activation of Live timing is assumed to be around beginning of August to allow for two/four weeks, in line with FA provisions 5) Transition to Business Day has not been decided yet, could be in line with Live timing 6) T2S deployment path / frequency should be maintained as per current
