Incentive Credits – Presentation

LONG VERSION: (can also be used to explain what we do after the “Short Version”) ______________________, our company helps businesses recover funds they’re entitle to receive from the federal and state governments. The money comes to you in the form of incentive credits, rebates, refunds, and rewards. And these credits can go back three years to recover profits for your business. If you follow any business news, you’ve probably heard about these incentives. In fact you always hear about General Motors, Carrier, Walmart, or Ford getting incentives to grow and keep jobs inside the

  • country. Well, your business is no different. The government offers these incentives to all qualified
  • businesses. The problem is … GE, Ford, Carrier, and Walmart will apply and get their money, but most

small business owners don’t know how to get the dollars they are entitled to. In fact, Forbes says that only 1 in 20 businesses, only 5% that are eligible for these credits ever apply ... and that 5% split over $12 billion last year. The reason that 5% claimed their incentive dollars is because they simply applied for the credits. Let me ask you a question: Have you ever gotten a government check in the mail with a note saying, “Hey ______, we saw your business, we like what you do and how you operate, so we’re sending you some money to help you grow your business.” Has that ever happened to you ______? No? You want to know why? It’s a simple principle - “You have not, because you ask not.” You see, we know who to ask, and how to ask. In fact, every year 95% of our clients come back to us to get credits for the previous year. That’s how successful we’ve been. Our company has recovered millions of dollars in the past 10 years for over 5,000 businesses, has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and has had no complaints for those 10 years. That’s pretty impressive, wouldn’t you say? And the beautiful thing about what I do … there is absolutely no charge to find out IF you have credit dollars coming, and how much you should receive. We do a deep analysis and research all the state, local, and federal programs to see what your business qualifies for. When we are finished you’ll know exactly how much you’re eligible to receive. Now remember, there’s no charge to find out IF you qualify and for how much. But we obviously don’t work for free, right? So let me tell you how our fee works… ____________, if I offered to come in every day and give you 3 one-hundred dollar bills, and just asked you to give me one back, how many days would you want me to come in to see you? Every day? Well, the fee for our forensic analysis is 33%. So let’s say you get you back $30,000 … the recovery fee is $10,000, and you keep $20,000. Would you be offended at paying $10,000 to put $20,000 in what our clients call “found money” into your pocket? You pay half of that fee after we’ve done all the work and prepared all the required forms and you know what you’ll receive. And the other half is paid after you receive your refund checks.

So again, it won’t cost you a dime to find out IF you are eligible, and a conservative estimate how much you should receive. At that point, you either want us to recover your profits for you, or you don’t. Simple enough? 15 QUESTIONS FLYER -- There are a few initial questions to determine whether you qualify. Check off the YES answers on this sheet. (explain the questions as necessary). IF THEY CHECKED YES TO #1 AND AT LEAST 2 ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS … Well, based on these answers, it looks like you could be eligible for cash incentives. That’s great! CONFIDENTIALITY FORM -- To make sure your information stays private, we have a confidentiality policy that says your information will not be shared with any third party except those who have a need to know, including what you share with me. (YOU sign the Confidentiality form in front of them. You have not asked them to sign yet.) “CHECKLIST” FORM -- This digs a little deeper into what you do in your business that qualifies for these incentive credits... GO OVER FORM. CHECK ALL THAT APPLIES BUSINESS QUALIFICATIONS -- Now I need to know a little more about your business… FILL OUT THE FORM, EVERY LINE! CONFIDENTIALITY FORM -- ____________, I’m pretty confident we can locate hidden money for you, but we won’t know until you give us permission to research. And notice … “there is NO CHARGE” to find out if you have a recovery due, and how much it should be. Would you like us to see if you have incentive dollars to recover? I just need your “Okay” on this sheet (CONFIDENTIALITY FORM). Go over the “CLIENT TIMELINE” so they will know what to expect next… 1. Welcome Email from barry@incentivecredits.com 2. Second email with dropbox link and FedEx label (if you prefer to overnight your documents) 3. 3-5 days I’ll get an “Incentive Analysis,” (an estimate) and bring it by to go over it with you. 4. If you agree to move forward, we’ll do the research and prepare the required documents. 5. I’ll bring those by for your signature and you’ll pay the first half of the 1/3 fee. 6. The 2nd half is paid after you receive your recovered profits. 7. Fair enough?

SHORT VERSION: _______________, did you know that every year the government gives more than $12 billion dollars in the form of incentive credits, rebates, refunds, and rewards to small businesses just like yours? No. So in the past 3 years you haven’t received your credits, rebates, and rewards from the federal government? No.

  • Good. That’s why I’m here … to get you what you are entitled to receive, and it won’t cost you anything

to find out if you are eligible for those credit dollars. 15 QUESTIONS FLYER -- There are a few initial questions to determine whether you qualify. Check off the YES answers on this sheet. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What type of businesses are eligible? It’s easier to describe who are NOT eligible. Businesses that are strictly retail are not good candidates. (Product in, product out.) Restaurants are specifically excluded from these credits. Possible Exceptions would be … Ø If a retail dress shop also does alterations or modifications. Ø If the restaurant also has a wholesale or catering business. After that, the biggest question is: “Did you show profits and pay taxes in all of the past 3 years?” If that answer is YES, then use the Questionnaire to determine whether credits might be available. If 2 or more are checked (plus the profits/taxes question), you are a good candidate. And remember, it doesn’t cost anything to find out! What will it cost me? As we’ve said, it costs nothing to find out IF you are eligible and a conservative range of how much you should receive. But, as you would expect, there is a fee-for-service… If I offered to come in to your business every day and give you three one-hundred dollar bills, and just asked you to give me one of the bills back, how many days would you want me to come in to see you? Every day? The fee for our forensic analysis is 33%. So let’s say you are entitled to get back $30,000 … the recovery fee is $10,000 (33%). You keep $20,000. Would you be offended at paying $10,000 to put $20,000 in your pocket? I hope not. You pay half of that 33% fee after we’ve done all the work and prepared all the required forms and you know what you’ll receive. The other half of the 33% is paid after you receive your refund checks. Is your 33% fee tax deductible? We don’t give tax advice, but generally speaking, the fee should be tax deductible as any other professional service you pay for. Can I use the money for anything, or must it be earmarked? Again, we don’t give tax advice. We suggest that you check with your financial professional for specific questions about how to spend your credit dollars. But remember, these credits generally represent an

  • ver-payment of your taxes.
