The humanitarian programme cycle • Is a coordinated series of actions undertaken to help prepare for, manage and deliver the humanitarian response • It consists of five elements coordinated in a seamless manner • is dependent on effective emergency preparedness, effective coordination with national/local authorities and humanitarian actors , and information management. 3 7th Annual PHT Regional Meeting

Background • EPREP is based on outcomes of the five PHT Annual Regional Meetings held between 2008 and 2012 • It is a living documents and is intended to be updated annually, following the annual PHT meetings • Revise for 2014 – PHT Meeting sessions cover EPREP topics – More user friendly document 11 7th Annual PHT Regional Meeting
