Was second and really brave in the last Kymi Grand Prix race. New trainer after that. Hard to fjnd the lead here but will get a nice journey. Born in Norway where he won the Derby. Competed in Elitloppet already in 2018 but was eliminated in the heat. The Quite Easy U.S. son was second in Elitloppet this year though, trained by an Italian and driven by Christofger Eriksson. The seven year old got a new trainer after that. German Wim Paal is working in Halmstad and last year he won Åbergs together with Ringostarr Treb. Among Cokstile’s wins abroad we mention Gran Premio della Nazioni in 2019. He will certainly get a nice journey here and should have a good chance to be in the mix.

Sprintermästaren in Halmstad last year. After a convincing victory on Örebro in May this year in 1.09.8/1609 meter he was invited to Elitloppet. Galloped already in the elimina- tion heat though. Was outstanding in the last race on Kalmar during the Midsummer weekend and put in a great efgort despite a poor number. Has been aiming for Åbergs after that. Has drawn a really nice number here and should be considered very early.

Showed great form on Årjäng. Is reliable and consistent. With the right journey he could cause an upset. With 93 starts the seven year old Yankee Glide son is by far the most experienced horse in this year’s Åbergs. His career started in the US where he as a two year old won an elimination heat to Peter Haughton Memorial. His best season was in 2018 when he fjnished second in Jubileumspokalen on Solvalla and won Sundsvall Open Trot and came in second in the Masters fjnal. Is trained by Stefan ”Tarzan” Melander and will be driven by Ulf Eriksson from Bollnäs again. Is well drawn and this consistent horse should never be discounted.

Is both fast and strong. The only mare here but with this interesting number she is an outsider. The only mare in this fjeld. Daniel Redén’s seven year old is a daughter to Donato Hanover and she has always shown very good skills and been able to match the best male horses too. After a successful young career in the US she came to Sweden as a four year old. With six straight wins she got an invitation to Elitloppet in 2019 where she was unplaced in the heat though. During this year’s Elitloppet weekend she won very easily in Lady Snärts Lopp for the best mares. Is driven by Örjan Kihlström again and with this nice number she could fjght for victory.

Took over the lead in the last Kymi Grand Prix race and won comfortably. Top horse who should be considered early again. Born in Italy but since a month ago the six year old is trained by Björn Goop. As a three year old Vitruvio won Orsi Mangelli in Milan, just like father Adrian Chip had done ten years earlier. As a four year old he scored several big victories, for exampel Gran Premio Unione Europea in Milan. Last season as a fjve year old he was successful in Oslo Grand Prix and he comes now from a win in the lead in Kymi Grand Prix. The stallion is very gifted and in good shape and Björn Goop chases his fjrst victory in Hugo Åbergs.

Never had a real chance after a quick fjnish on Årjäng. Is quite poorly drawn here. Just an outsider. The only horse in this fjeld who competed in Hugo Åbergs last season too. The seven year old Orlando Vici son is trained by Jägersro’s Joakim Lövgren. Was only seventh last year and chases revenge now. He was seventh in the fjnal of Elitloppet this year too after coming in second in the heat. Racing Mange was already success- ful as a two year old and fjnished second in Uppfödningslöpningen. His biggest win so far came last season when he won Kymi Grand Prix where he was a non starter earlier this summer. This number is tricky and he needs lots of racing luck.

Was not at his best on Östersund two starts back. Should be improved by the latest run but this number is tough. After a second spot in Kriteriet in 2018 the fjve year old son to Muscle Hill started last season really strongly with victory in Kungapokalen on Åby. Aimed for a winter season in France but faced several problems even if he challenged Face Time Bourbon in Criteri- um Continental on Vincennes where he galloped still fjghting for victory. The horse was a bit slow in his comeback in Jämtlands Stora Pris but he should be on the way up now chasing his fjrst win of the season. Conrad Lugauer is suspended so apprentice Marc Elias will get a chance in the sulky this time.

in Hamburg last year which is his biggest victory so far. During the summer of 2020 the horse has been successful in Norway and he comes from a second spot in Ulf Thoresen Grand International. Will be driven by Norwegian Tom Erik Solberg again. This number eight is really bad though and he needs lots of luck.

During his splendid career so far Ecurie D. has been successful in Fyraåringseliten on Solvalla over 1640 meter and he comes from victory in Fyraåringstestet on Eskilstuna over 2640 meter. It shows that the talent already now handles all distances. Most money he earned on Vermo in December last year when he won the European Championships for three year old horses – despite an early mistake. Faces of course tough conditions here with this number.
