IIS Upgrade Communications Last month the EHR experts brought up this issue: ◦ IIS upgrade their systems without enough warning to EHR partners ◦ EHR vendors/implementers need 30-60 day notice of upcoming changes ◦ Data flows are being interrupted or broken during upgrades AIRA team is looking at this issue: ◦ AIRA technical assistance team also needs a way to track IIS upgrades ◦ Looking for a way to track this centrally for everyone to update and use Solutions being looked at: ◦ Email distribution list ◦ Dynamic webpage in AART (accessible by both EHR and IIS) ◦ AIRA taking a role in reaching out to IIS to ask when upgrades will happen 5
