Air Ambulance HEMS service

  • Partnership with Northern Ireland Ambulance

Service and Air Ambulance Northern Ireland to delivery the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS)

  • Trauma Service Provision provided 365 days of

the year, 7 days a week, 12 hours per day

  • 1-2 taskings per day
  • EC135 Helicopter can travel anywhere in

Northern Ireland in circa 25 minutes

  • This service brings the hospital to the patient
  • Already being tasked daily, on average with
  • ver 1200 taskings
