The VCG Workgroup The VCG Workgroup
- Development and deployment of a high-
performance computing service based (to some extent) on the Globus middleware, providing:
– A distributed task execution environment that employs
resources from machines connected to the RNP backbone
– The simplest possible access to such resources (Web)
- Basic features:
– Bartering-based economy model (self-recharging tbi)
- Centered around user projects
– Automatic management of certificates – Integrated monitoring (resources, security...)
