Why are we doing this?

GOAL - Bring our students home to Enfield and provide quality programming to meet their needs.

  • We currently have students with social, emouional and behavioral needs who attend special education therapeutic

schools outside of the Enfield community.

  • As a goal team, we reviewed the needs of our students and toured special education academic and therapeutic

schools across Connecticut.

  • We recognize that Enfield has the resources and commitment to create an excellent special education academic

and therapeutic school for our students in district.

  • We realize that there are opportunities for the regionalization of services

with ouher school systems in the area.
