Planned Response • KYTC personnel (our Division, as well as representatives from Maintenance and Equipment) regularly participate in exercises conducted by Kentucky Emergency Management. • These exercises allow us to ‘pre - game’ our response to particular types of incidents, build relationships with our response partners, and understand how all of the agencies (Emergency Support Functions) work together toward a common goal. • Our Division is involved in planning and response for a number of large-scale planned events throughout the Commonwealth: Derby KY Speedway Race weekends • • Oaks Eclipse • • LR KY 3-Day Event • 22
