CyTec Systems is a German multinational company that serves the market with high-tech fabrication Machine parts. For over 30 years, CyTec has been developing and producing components, such as cylinders, clamping systems, motor spindles, milling heads, trunnion and rotary tables at the highest standards. CyTec Systems was founded in 1984 as a specialist for locking cylinders. It continuously advanced and established itself in the range of machine and tool clamping technology. With the introduction of the HSK tool interface in 1994, CyTec in cooperation with a well-known German machine tool manufacturer created motor spindles as a new product range. This was the basis for the setup of CyTec’s core competencies as a manufacturer of motor spindles. In 2002 the first two axis fork milling head with torque motors as direct drives was presented. Clamping and releasing tool
CyTwist clamping system is self locked .the rotary union doesn't have to and must not be held under hydraulic pressure. means that reduction
- f the initial tension is possible during operation at the high speed
without causing a leakage which may damage the spindle bearings. The seals combination allows circumferrential velocities leading up to 50 m/s, means the rotary unions can work with contacting seals leakage- free at least up to 30,000 r.p.m.

A permanent contacting ceramic axial face seal ring can be used up to 80 bar and a speed of 24,000 r.p.m.. A loss of the rotary union or a leakage are prevented. This technology has proved itself for several years of experience.
Recirculating cooling
With low pressure (» 1 bar) a recirculating cooling is achieved by the closed check valve. Therefore the internal coolant is equipped with two
- connections. This technology guarantees balanced thermal values for
dry as well as for wet operation.
CyTec spindle structure--Bearing
Hybrid-bearings for highest spindle rigidity, load bearing capacity, accuracy and service life The front of the spindle is equipped with a triple tandem-o hybrid bearing and is preloaded hydrostatically and by spring pressure. On the rear the bearings are preloaded by springs in tandem position. Lubrication of bearings Depending on the speed range the bearings can be lubricated with grease or oil- air. The economic lifetime grease lubrication is suited most of all for low and intermediate speed ranges. Oil-air lubrication allows highest speed ranges. It is directly injected into the most highly-stressed bearing zone. Even with highest speed loads an optimal life service is ensured. This bearing concept guarantees highest machining precision with minimal spindle expansion.
Spindle cooling circuits
Circuit spindle cooling The spindle cooling circuit prevents the growth of the spindle to the front and protects the bearings. The temperature remains constant independently from the speed. There is no influence on the spindle's accuracy. Circuit motor cooling The dissipated heat of the motor is derived by the motor cooling so that the temperature of the spindle housing can be held on ambient level.

The tool cooling can optionally be achieved either as external coolant and/or internal coolant flow supplied through the rotary union.

Clamping product-CyDock
CyDock docking system guarantees the ultimate in precision and safety using simple technology. A coupling bolt is automatically positively locked by means of radialy operating locking segments. This is done free from play on demand. The coupling is released by applying hydraulic or pneumatic force. Holding forces of up to several hundred kN can be achieved. CyDock is suitable whenever secure connections have to be made and released as easily as possible.

The success of the design of the CyDim lies in its simplicity. As a universally applicable connecting element, it is capable of meeting nearly all demands of flexible production systems. The CyDim can be operated hydraulically or pneumatically. Using simple methods it fulfills the three most important functions of clamping technology:

- Self-retention of the clamping force without maintaining pressure

Cylinder Technology-CyLock
In modern production, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders are standard for linear stroke movements. When guaranteed rigidity under load and failsafe function is required the CyLock cylinder with positive locking is the right choice. Due to its positive locking at the end of stroke, many interesting and easy technical solutions are possible. The cylinders enable a considerable simplification of complicated conventional construction. No additional mechanic or steering is
- required. The positive locking automatically becomes effective when the cylinder
reaches the lockable final position. It remains locked even when the pressure is
- disconnected. Since the holding force in the locked position is many times that
- f the cylinder's hoisting power, high counterforce can also be safely absorbed.

CyBlock short stroke cylinder
The compact series CyBlock was especially developed for injection moulding cores in tool and mould manufacturing which require a safe holding with only a short mould release stroke. They are easy to mount and to adjust and complete the range
- f the locking cylinders series CyPull. Similar to series CyPull, the CyBlock cylinders
are equipped with integrated positive lock for the extended stroke position of the piston rod. Two versions are available: Series HSZ with positive lock and a locking tolerance range and can be adjusted to generate a preload on the core to compensate tolerances and elasticity of the tool. This type is suited for i. e. complex core forms, partially touching cores, paired touching cores, underfloor slides etc. Series HDZ with positive lock without preload in the end position. This type is suited for i. e. simple core pins, support cylinder for inserts, cores where the use of preload is undesirable.
