What is the Property Marking Scheme? •The scheme is a community led crime prevention program. •The program involves marking property with a unique identifier. •Our scheme offers a number of unique identifier options including Driving Licence number or Eircode. •The mark that is made on the property is a physical mark which is etched into the property. It is very difficult to remove and can be repeated a number of times on the one item. •The mark is made by a the Telesis Benchmark 460 marking machine which embosses the property item with small dots in the pattern of the unique identifier.

  4. Clare Property Marking Scheme Progress •18 Property Marking Clinics (PMCs) have been held since May 2019. Clinics have been held at various Clare Marts, county shows and joint AGS events. •The system has been demonstrated for the IFA at AGMs in Meelick and Ballyea. •CCC entered partnership with the Clare Division of AGS in October 2019 to further •CCC entered partnership with the Clare Division of AGS in October 2019 to further promote the system with a view to rolling out training to facilitate AGS hosting their own PMCs. •CCC and AGS have held three successful joint clinics in Crusheen, Spanish point and Shannon
