We can instantly increase our traffic to certain des- tinations by simply posting our buy or sell rates and getting offers from any one of the 360 carri- ers. Traffic can be picked up and or sent within a 4 hour maximum time frame. This gives us a direct opportunity to quickly exchange traffic! We have recently created a new report that allows us to be notified (via email/text messaging) of any anomolies in our voice traffic patterns. The report sends us any destinations whose qual- ity measurements go below our minimum threshold parameters. Therefore, if our route to any given destination goes below our minimum allowed ASR (answer seizure ratio) or ALOC (avg length of call), we will be notified of this dip in quality and will close the problem route. This helps maintain a high quality of service. Our new purchase of IP switching has also allowed us far more flexibility to connect to many more world wide carriers. Also, with the possibility of having direct connections to these carri- ers, latency will decrease and quality will increase on our lines. Furthermore, with the new tech- nology on the IP switch, connectivity will be simpler, faster and more efficient!
