- Challenge runs May 1 – July 31
- Blood Donation Challenge Award presented at the Iowa State Fair
- Credit awarded for each donation made by an eligible employee
- Host a Blood Drive
- Credit awarded for ALL donations at company hosted drives
- No limit on number of blood drives hosted

- Meals from the Heartland Challenge Award
- Two ways to earn credit
- Send volunteers to help at an “Open Pack Shift” June 1 – July 18 at Meals from
the Heartland
- Sponsor a “Mobile Meal Packaging Event” in June and July (subject to
availability)
- Funding is required per meal for Mobile Meal Packaging Events
- Awards based on the total number of volunteers participating in each
company
- Top company in each division receives an award at the Iowa State Fair
- Registration opens April 20, 2020

- Company Admin can administer teams, or each team can have a Team Captain
- Individuals will record water intake and activity.
- Companies will receive a Group ID and subsidy code
- Email sent to Company Admin with info – send out to your employees to register
- Team members must record at least once per week for five of the six
weeks to count towards company participation %
- Employees can participate right from their desk.
- Water bottles can be picked up at the Fitness Walk

- No shows/spots left unfilled will be penalized 50 company points each

- Expected maximum number of required volunteers per company by
division:
- Division 1: 8 volunteers
- Division 2: 6 volunteers
- Division 3: 4 volunteers
- Divisions 4 & 5: 2 volunteers
- Volunteer assignment preferences due by May 1 at 5:00 pm
- Volunteer assignments posted within a week after the deadline
- Family members filling spots will count (must be 16 or older)
