The Nomination Committee

  • Composition – A chairman and 3 members appointed by the Board.
  • Qualifications for appointment – Not eligible if the person is a candidate for

election to the Board or is domiciled in a region whose seat is open for renewal during an election.

  • Main responsibilities - Find candidates for the election of the directors of

AFRINIC; and have general responsibility for as well to supervise the conduct of the polls by the election Committee on election day.

The Governance Committee

  • Elected at the AGMM
  • Main responsibilities - It advices the AFRINIC Board, AFRINIC Membership,

& the community, on matters of corporate governance
