Homeless Assistance Providers REQUIREMENTS : • Documentation: • Copies of mortgage statement, rental or lease agreement • Copies of utility bills • Each Provider will be eligible for up to $5,000 per month
Grants to Individuals & Households
Grants to Individuals & Households Grant Maximum: • Assistance amounts shall be the lesser of the rent/mortgage payment for no more than 2 months or $2,500.
Grants to Individuals & Households REQUIREMENTS: • Income may not exceed 80% of the AMI. Income at or below 50% of AMI will be prioritized

Grants to Individuals & Households REQUIREMENTS : • Must rent or own a home in Eureka (City limits)
Grants to Individuals & Households REQUIREMENTS : Household must provide evidence of a reduction in income related to Covid-19 • Reductions may be caused by: • Layoffs • Reduction in work hours • Increase in medical bills or the need to stay home due to a sick household member or quarantine restrictions etc.
Grants to Individuals & Households REQUIREMENTS : Documentation: • Income verification: • A letter from employer • Evidence of reduced wages, by providing a current and past (prior to March 2020) payroll stubs • Copies of medical bills .
Grants to Individuals & Households REQUIREMENTS : • Household income will be calculated in accordance with California Code Regulations 25 § 6914. • Income may be documented by an income declaration completed by all household’s expected income for the next 12 months.
Grants to Individuals & Households REQUIREMENTS : • If the household claims no income, all household members over the age of 18 shall provide a zero-income declaration • If a household has experienced a reduction in income, but is still collecting income from any source, the assistance amount may be prorated
Grants to Individuals & Households REQUIREMENTS : • Monthly rent or mortgage will be verified by a statement or lease agreement • Assistance checks will be paid directly to the landlord or mortgage holder.
25 CCR 6914 – Gross Income Gross Income: Gross income shall mean the anticipated income of a person or family for the 12 month period following the date of determination of income. If the circumstances are such that it is not reasonably feasible to anticipate a level of income over a 12 month period, a shorter period may be used.
