The National Picture

  • New National Curriculum for Years 1, 3, 4 and

5 introduced in September 2014.

  • raised. In 2014-2015 it was 65% of children

achieving Level 4 or above in reading, writing and maths. New expected standard from this year is equivalent to old Level 4b or above.
