Youth Summer Work - Experience Programs starting July 13, 2009.

  • OIA will conduct a fiscal Review while MCU conducts an

eligibility determination review for youth enrolled in the summer work experience program.

  • The Recovery Act provided that, of the WIA Youth

performance measures, only the work readiness measure is required to assess the effectiveness of summer - only employment for youth served with Recovery Act funds.

  • Methodology Used to measure skill attainment
  • A Work Readiness pre-test assessment must be administered.

The same assessment must be used prior to the end of the program.
