Alaska Community Action on Toxics Report Recommendations • Prohibit any further use of PFAS in firefighting foam • Set health-protective, enforceable drinking water standards • Conduct a comprehensive monitoring program • Provide safe water • Ensure responsible cleanup • Require biomonitoring and medical monitoring • Prevent occupational exposures and assess adverse effects on firefighters and other workers • Prohibit the use of PFAS as food additives or in food packaging • Provide community members a “seat at the table” for decision-making
